The whole idea of building through the draft is keeping the good players you get. When did the Chiefs turn into the Royals? They have the money. They have a serious need for a hard core DE that reeks the kind of havoc Jared does. Why would they want to trade him, especially knowing what we will have to pay an unproven 1st rounder isn't much less that what they'll need to pay him. They did this last year with LJ. Who trades away Pro Bowl players in their prime? A 4-11 team, that's who. This guy has done everything in his ability to clean up his life off the football and has been nothing but a star on it.
