There I was, catching some out of market games on TV with my friends.  So, I thought I would check in and see what was happening between the Brew Crew and the Reds.  The game was broadcast by an Ohio network and when the game went to break…I couldn’t believe the commercial I saw!  It was a local advertisement for a dating website like I had NEVER SEEN BEFORE!  It was a site that catered to only farmers!  (Ohio local advertisement, remember?)  At first I thought it was a joke but later in the game we saw the ad again!  My friends and I just couldn’t believe it!  I know specialized dating sites are all the rage now (see: Rotoharmony) but selection by your occupation?  Maybe the site is just letting you know what you are going to get up front.  Join this site and you will get yourself a prize farmer!  I wonder if athletes might start to look into this idea…
