Hockey is the best sport to watch, as much as we all may want to doubt it, we cannot deny the fact that out of every sport that exists out there Hockey is the most exciting, and fun, to watch. I've broken it down to three main, distinct reasons why this is:

(NOTE: I am referring to Ice hockey in this post)

1- Hockey is the most violent sport. Sure in football you have players tackling each other and jumping all over each other, but Hockey is where the real fights happen. People slice each others throats open, blood bounces on ice, players constantly get checked into the walls and the crowd goes wild! When you watch hockey and feel the exhilaration of the game, it is then that you can truly understand why the Romans loved the gladiators so much.

2- Hockey takes more skill than all other professional sports we watch on TV. There are more skills to master in this game than all others. To be a true Ice Hockey Player, you need to be a great skater, a great shooter, good at handling the puck while moving at high speeds, and able to take a hit- then throw one back! Passing a puck is much more different than throwing a basketball or football, or kicking over a soccerball; it is very difficult and when you understand this you truly appreciate the sport way more.

3- It is better and you know it.
