Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware was named the winner of the Butkus Award Friday.  In coaching news, Chad Pennington was impressed with Rex Ryan as a candidate for the head coaching job of the Jets.  Other potential Jets coaching candidates: Cardinals offensive line coach Russ Grimm and Colts defensive coordinator Ron Meeks.

Well, folks.  Life has taken a turn for the busy and crazy, and I can't give my weekly article the full attention it deserves for this edition.  While I don't see a let down in my schedule next week, I will try to get my article in for the handful of you who actually look forward to reading it each week.

Just to give you an update.  Yes, Peyton Manning proved he was out to get me by losing me points against the Browns, causing me to lose faith and drop him against the Bengals, where he proceeded to light it up for 3 TD's.  I have a dysfunctional relationship with the guy, so I naturally put him back in for this week, which simply means he will do jack!  You have been warned.
