Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware was named the winner of the Butkus Award Friday. In coaching news, Chad Pennington was impressed with Rex Ryan as a candidate for the head coaching job of the Jets. I’ve really enjoyed watching a lot of these young backs run this season. Two that have come on very strong of late are Steve Slaton and Chris Johnson. Both are speedy backs, with fresh legs who make great cuts. They both have enough size too and that should keep them healthy. If they can avoid injury, they will become very good backs in this league for years to come. Read more »Quick Update.

Well, folks. Life has taken a turn for the busy and crazy, and I can't give my weekly article the full attention it deserves for this edition. While I don't see a let down in my schedule next week, I will try to get my article in for the handful of you who actually look forward to reading it each week. Just to give you an update. Yes, Peyton Manning proved he was out to get me by losing me points against the Browns, causing me to lose faith and drop him against the Bengals, where he proceeded to light it up for 3 TD's.
