Milan block Kaka from competing at Olympics

AC Milan will not allow Kaka to play for Brazil at this summer's Olympics in Beijing. Is it reasonable to prevent the over-23 Kaka from playing on Brazil's Olympic team or is AC Milan playing country politics?
