Why are there no Celtics on the National Team roster?

I would think at least Pierce or Garnett would have made the team. Does this surprise anyone else?

There are SO many great pros...I just can't understand how a committee could decide which ballers qualify for the National Team and which just don't cut it. Anther thing I'm curious about is who will take on the leadership roles for the National Team. Anyone have any ideas?
