Who will win the 2008 Stanley Cup?

These are who I would say are the top 5 teams from each conference going into this year's playoffs:

West
1)Detroit- If they can get healthy by the start of the playoffs they will be the team to beat.
2)Anaheim- now that Selanne and Niedermayer are back on board, the Ducks have a legitimate shot at repeating.
3)San Jose- they are heating up at the right time and are riding a 10 game win streak.
4)Dallas- Richards exploded in his Star's debut with 5 assists. If he can build some chemistry with his new squad before the playoffs...watch out.
5)Calgary- they failed to make any moves to boost their rather weak offense. Kiprusoff hasn't been as dominant this year and needs all the help he can get.

East
1)Ottawa- they really picked a bad time to start sucking...I still think they are the best team in the East.
2)Montreal- the Habs have been a pleasant suprise this year. They will be relying on a rookie goaltender, but Price is the real deal.
3)New Jersey- the Devils may want to give some added rest for Brodeur because he really started to breakdown this time last year.
4)Pittsburgh- adding Hossa was a statement. They intend on winning NOW. They have Fluery back now, but Conklin was great in his absence and deserves a chance to be the co-starter.
5)N.Y. Rangers- their offense and Lundqvist have yet to be on the same page this year. If both can catch fire in the playoffs I think they can compete with anybody.

Prediction: Detroit defeats Ottawa in 6 games.

Good stuff.

I'd be nice if we could see any of these games though.

Yeah, there is nothing like

Yeah, there is nothing like watching an NHL hockey boxscore refresh every 60 seconds...to only find out that NOTHING happened during that time...it's INTENSE!!

Don't disrespect the Hockey.

Don't disrespect the Hockey. Bad things will happen to you and your pets.

I'm not disrespecting hockey

I'm not disrespecting hockey at all. I love it so much that I'll watch the boxscores refresh every 60 seconds (if I have to) because it is rarely televised.
