"Without having an official no-trade clause in his contract, Favre has an unofficial no-trade clause in the leverage he has.
If the Packers agree to trade Favre to any team, the quarterback can veto the deal simply by declining to report. Then Favre's rights would revert back to Green Bay, which would be forced to take him back along with his $12 million base salary -- or release him."
Basically, Green Bay has to keep him or trade him for less than market value to whatever team he chooses. Favre is looking more and more likely to end up as the starter in Green Bay.

Trading Favre

There's no way the Packers will, or should, trade him to any NFC team. It's just poor form for Brett to even request that. The Packers SHOULD allow him to be traded to an AFC team though.

If Farve goes to the AFC division would his stats be deleted and he needs fresh stats. Also he is a legend in the NFC.

I think if Farve wants to come back he should. The managers need to stop and either let the older and wiser QB start or just give him up to a team that will start him. Brett do whatever you want and just play. You do not need to put up with all of the coaches.
