1. Derrick Rose - why? cuz it just happened (i'm a bit late)
2. Michael Beasley - I'm sending him down south to a terrible team since he knocked SC out of the tournament
3. Kevin Love - supposedly loves basketball so much, so he won't need anything else up in Minnesota
4. Brook Lopez - even if he is a huge Disney dork, he's an inside presence that can help Durant
5. Jerryd Bayless - i vaguely remember this name so let's put him at the 5 spot

6. DJ Augustin - every Starbury needs their own DJ
7. OJ Mayo - I'm hoping OJ can redeem himself and the Clipper
8. Russell Westbrook - i'm sending the Bruins far far away from me
9. Joe Alexander - i heard he already has a throwback Hornets starter jacket
10. Brandon Rush - people had Portland taking him but B-Rush and B-Roy? Too cute
11. Mario Chalmers - hopefully can bring some magic to a once great basketball franchise

1. Chicago Bulls – Derrick Rose, So obvious... well then again i know this is late. so you can deduct a point from my tally.

2. Miami Heat – Michael Beasley, obvious second since rose is taken.

3. Minnesota Timberwolves – O.J. Mayo, 3rd best player, most paid pre-draft player?

4. Seattle SuperSonics– Russell Westbrook,Go Bruins

5. Memphis Grizzlies – Kevin Love, Go Bruins

6. New York Knicks – Danilo Gallinari, Best Euro... makes another possible bust for the knicks.

7. Los Angeles Clippers – Brook Lopez, C,need more than this to keep them in LA

8. Milwaukee Bucks – Eric Gordon, ok.. this is all i know...

9. Charlotte Bobcats – Anthony Randolph, it's copy time :)

10. New Jersey Nets – Joe Alexander, sounds pretty good

11. Indiana Pacers – Jerryd Bayless, they need help. bad toronto trade.

12. Sacramento Kings – D.J. Augustin, sounds good to me.

1 Chicago-D. Rose: Hometown kid makes good.

2 Miami-M. Beasley: I look for them to trade him, but they will at least select him for someone.

3 Minnesota- O.J. Mayo: Maybe the most talented player in the draft...but those USC OJ's are trouble!

4 Seattle-Brook Lopez: Sonic's get a true center to run with Durant/Green

5 Memphis-K. Love: Memphis has an abundance of guards, they need a big man to help Warrick under the rim.

6 New York-D. Gallinari: D'Antoni likes the European style of basketball, so why not take a guy you know fits that style.

7 LA Clippers-E. Gordon: Gordon will help ease the pain of losing the points Maggette once scored.

8 Milwaukee-R. Westbrook: This will give them a slashing guard to take some pressure off of Redd (if they keep him around).

9 Charlotte-J. Bayless: The Bobcats are looking for some depth at guard behind Raymond Felton, they find it here.

1. Bulls — Derrick Rose. Because he will sell tickets. Also because Noah and Beasley on the same team is a very bad idea
2. Heat – Michael Beasley. He'll be a better pro than Rose, but only if by "better" you mean more points, assists and rebounds. Oh, wait…
3. Wolves – Brook Lopez, because the Wolves love seven-footers who would rather play defense than score.
4. Sonics – OJ Mayo. He and Durant will be the best guard tandem in Oklahoma.
5. Grizzlies – Marc Gasol, so the Grizz can trade him to LA for, like, nothing.
6. Knicks – Roy Hibbert. In the tradition of Patrick Ewing — without the NCAA success.
7. L.A. Clippers – Kevin Love. From LA to LA. It's a natural. The guy was made for Hollywood.
8. Bucks – Darrell Arthur. He's got the soft touch. He's got the lean, long body. Is this a draft forecast or online porn?
9. Bobcats – Brandon Rush. He could be just as good as Rose. Seriously. Stop laughing. You've never seen him healthy, dangit.

Number 1 Overall - Derrick Rose - the bulls need another MJ, but they won't find it anywhere here..
Number 2 - Michael Beasley - Can I use the word 3peat without getting sued. Anyway, if Riley can't find a taker for the pick beasley would fit
Number 3 - Kevin Love - Gotta Love It - All the Love here - Wait, that is so cliche....
Number 4 - Milk Mustard - Sorry, OJ Mayo (I always get those confused) Mayo would be a good fit with Seattle. (The tears flow when reminiscing of Ray Allen with the C's{and a ring})
Number 5 - Mr. gasol - And I am not talking about the one that BLEW the NBA finals- probably the one time he'll be there
Number 6 - HaHaHa - The knicks could get the first 20 picks to turn this team around...But Westbrook should play a good role in getting to a 30 win season.
Number 7 - Eric Gordon - After playing one disappointing season for a screwed-up college team, Gordon gets to play a series of disappointing seasons for a screwed-up NBA team.

1. Bulls — Derrick Rose. Chicago picks the hometown boy, trades Kirk Heinrich to the German League.
2. Heat – Michael Beasley. Honestly, I’ve never seen the guy play, since I can only watch so much college basketball per season, and his Big 12 games usually conflicted with something better, like sleep.
3. Wolves – OJ Mayo. His marketing power should explode in basketball-addicted Minnesota.
4. Sonics – French Open champion Brook Lopez.
5. Grizzlies – Jerryd Bayless. Skip’s son ignored his father’s pleas to attend Vanderbilt, the “First Take” co-star’s alma mater. That’s good, because Vanderbilt doesn’t take kindly to student-athletes who go on to great NBA careers.
6. Knicks – Roy Hibbert. The Knicks have always liked big Hoyas (Patrick Ewing, Mike Sweetney) and honestly, this would be the only pick that would make me root for them again.

NBA Draft Picks

1. Chicago Bulls – Derrick Rose, PG, Memphis

Sorry, but Kirk Hinrich just ain’t cutting it at PG in the Windy City. Look for Rose to come in and show the white boy how it’s done.

2. Miami Heat – Michael Beasley, PF, Kansas St.

Although they want Rose, the Heat will settle for Beasley here. The kid’s got it all – size, talent and personality. He’ll be a hit in South Beach and the perfect wingman for D-Wade.

3. Minnesota Timberwolves – O.J. Mayo, SG, USC

Some teams might be wary of Mayo’s “extra curriculars,” but Minny head honcho Kevin McHale is no stranger to scandals (see: Smith, Joe). Mayo and Al Jefferson should form a solid inside/outside duo.

4. Seattle SuperSonics – Jerryd Bayless, PG, Arizona

Although I don’t think that ginger kid Robert Swift is the answer at center, neither is Brook Lopez. Look for the Sonics to get some backcourt help in Bayless, the latest elite prospect out of Point Guard U.

2- Miami Heat - PF Micheal Beasley - should team well with Haslem
3- Minnesota - SG OJ Majo - they scoring.....bad.
4- Seattle Sonics - PG Jerryd Bayless - sorry Earl Watson...
5- Memphis Grizzles - PF Kevin Love - what Pau Gasol wishes he could be
6- New York Knicks - PG Russell Westbrook - don't let the door hit you on the way out Stephon
7- LA Clippers - SG Eric Gordon - they need a scorer and he does just that.
8- Milwaukee Bucs - SF Dannilo Gallinari - can you say 'Darko'?
9- Charlotte Bobcats - C Brook Lopez - finally find a C to team with Okafor.
10- New Jersey Nets - SF Joe Alexander - should step right in once the Nets move Jefferson
11- Indiana Pacers - PG D.J. Augustin - I guess Jamal Tinsley can't 'make it rain' no more....lol.
12- Sacramento Kings - PF Anthony Randolph - Artest may be on the move and this cat can PLAY and provide some inside presence.

1. Chicago - Michael Beasley - Good low post scorer, something they need and they don’t need Derek Rose because of Kirk Heinrich.
2. Miami - Derek Rose - Point guard needed.
3. Minnesota - Brook Lopez - A Lopez and Al Jefferson for their front court would be domination. Possible nickname: Twinkie Towers.
4. Seattle - DJ Augustin - Could be the next CP3.
5. Memphis - Jared Bayless - Fast and well rounded scorer that could free up space for Rudy Gay.
6. New York - Danilo Gallinari - Dantoni played with his father in the Italian league and he will develop into an Italian Borris Diaw. A big guy that can shoot and play the game like a point guard.
7. Los Angeles Clippers - O.J. Mayo - He’s another big physical player to add to a line-up with Brand, Thornton and Kamaan. Hopefully this will put an end to the over-hyped Quentin Ross legacy.
8. Milwaukee - Joe Alexander - He can shoot, he’s athletic and he’s from West Virginia so cut the kid some slack.

While I enjoy college basketball, I really only pay attention when the tournament starts. On top of that, I only follow the Lakers, so I couldn’t tell you one thing about the needs of the other 29 NBA teams. So my “mock draft” just takes the top 30 guys I’ve heard of, puts them in some kind of order, and slots them onto the team with that pick:

1. Bulls - O.J. Mayo – I’m a Trojan fan, what can I say?
2. Heat - Michael Beasley – Saw him play 5 or 6 times…stud.
3. T-Wolves - Justin Rose – Beast.
4. Sonics - Kevin Love – Hate this guy.
5. Grizzlies - D.J. Augustin – On the long list of stud freshmen.
6. Knicks - Jerryd Bayless – Arizona was inconsistent, but he wasn’t.
7. Clippers - Eric Gordon – Love this kid’s game.
8. Bucks - Brook Lopez – Almost as annoying as his brother.
9. Bobcats - Roy Hibbert – He’s tall.
10. Nets - Brandon Rush – How many of Rush brothers are there?
