You can't jump on people. It is a rule. It doesn't matter when it happened, nor what may or may not have been called on the previous possession.
The NBA is haunted by conspiracy theories because it allows its referees to bend rules with total subjectivity.
Does an ump not call a looking third strike if there are two outs in the ninth because the players should decide it on the field?
By not calling a clear violation, the ref DID decide the outcome of the game. Fisher (a player) affected the outcome by committing a foul. Barry (a player) affected the outcome by drawing a foul and shooting free throws.
No more superstar rules, no more playoff rules and no more last minute rules!

yes but it should have been on the ground. so, shooting 2. but. the play before should have been a reset of the 24 second clock so. it's all even.

Ya, it was a foul. But Fisher's shot hit the rim the possession before, so Kobe would have been shooting 2 free throws. Also, the foul was on the ground, and the Lakers would have destroyed the Spurs in overtime anyway. You'll never get a call like that, especially in the playoffs, so Spurs fans should stop whining.
