I think most Sox fans secretly hope he gets hurt doing something ridiculous, like snizzing or carrying a deer carcass up his front steps. That way we can hate him openly again. Right now it's too confusing.

I wuld actually agree. For the most par this guy drives me bonkers. Besides the fact that from the time he was drafted he has been injured and never lives up to the potential... He seems to have this thing where you cnt trust him a lick all season and then out of the blue he comes up big in the playofss. The bottom line is that he jsut doesn't fit the Boston style of play for a number of reasons. I see him in a small market team over the next few years. collecting a few mil and hitting 280/18hr/70rbi ( not all that bad ) but nothig close to the potential. His brother will go down as a better ball player. oh yeah...
